Rules and Regulations

LA GUMBO FESTIVAL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ARTS AND CRAFTS

1. Exhibitors must provide their own tent, table, chairs, etc..

2. Accepted vendors must exhibit until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and are encouraged to participate on Sunday until 5:00 p.m. Vendors are expected to be in their booths for the hours of operation for the Arts and Crafts portion of the Festival. Stand-in vendors are not allowed.

3. Booth space is 10 X 12.

4. Tents must be anchored securely to withstand our high winds and potential bad weather. You are not allowed to anchor onto standing property of the Wharf including poles, benches or trees. Tent weights are required.

5. All booths must be done in good taste. This is a family friendly Festival and we retain the right to make vendors remove any items deemed to be in questionable taste.

6. Although this is primarily an Arts & Crafts show, some commercially produced items may be excepted. Please specify on vendor application if you are an artist or commercial vendor. Giclées and other reproductions are permitted but must be clearly marked as such.

7. Vendors are responsible for all set up and security needs for their booth. It is highly recommended that each vendor be covered under their own insurance. Nominal security will be provided after hours. The Festival will not be responsible for any lost or damaged vendor items.

8. No amplified music is allowed during the Festival. Your awning and all displays must be contained within your 10 X 12 booth space.

9. Vendors are responsible for collecting, reporting and paying all sales taxes collected to the City of Orange Beach, Baldwin County and the State of Alabama. Tax forms will be provided in the Registration packet. The State of Alabama and Baldwin County also require you purchase a transient license. 10. Vendors must check in between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Friday May 9th and between 7:00 a.m. and9:00 a.m. on Saturday Mat 10th. You are required to check-in in person and show a photo I.D. All vendors must be open for business by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 10th.

11. Pets are not allowed in the Festival area, except those required to assist handicapped individuals, during the entirety of the Festival.

12. Vendors are not allowed to actively solicit outside of their booth.

13. Breakdown for the event begins at 6 pm on Saturday, May 10th.

14. Vendors are not allowed to cook in their booth or surrounding area.
